The basic rules for using PriceDrops.lk, store promotions, advertisements and related services.
1. Using PriceDrops.lk
Welcome to PriceDrops.lk, a deal-discovery and promotional advertising platform operated by Price Drops (Pvt) Ltd. By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to use it lawfully and in accordance with these Terms.
2. Deals, flyers and store information
PriceDrops.lk helps users discover promotions, special offers, flyers and advertising content from businesses. Unless clearly stated otherwise, the retailer or advertiser remains responsible for its own prices, availability, offer periods, product details and conditions.
Please confirm important offer details with the relevant retailer before making a purchase.
3. Sponsored and paid promotions
Businesses may pay for featured listings, sponsored deals, promotional boosts, banner placements or other visibility services. Where disclosure is required, paid or sponsored content will be identified appropriately.
4. Business and user-submitted content
If you submit a flyer, image, logo, video, advertisement, offer or other material, you confirm that you have the authority and rights needed to provide that content and allow PriceDrops to host, reproduce, display and distribute it for operating and promoting the Platform.
We may review, reject, edit, suspend or remove content where reasonably necessary for compliance, security, accuracy, complaints, user protection or enforcement of these Terms.
5. Acceptable use
- Do not misuse the Platform, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with security or disrupt normal operation.
- Do not upload unlawful, misleading, infringing or unauthorized content.
- Do not submit another person’s personal or sensitive information unless you have an appropriate lawful basis or authority.
- Keep account credentials confidential where account features are available.
6. External websites and services
The Platform may link to retailers, advertisers, payment providers, social-media services or other third parties. Those independent services have their own terms, policies and practices, and PriceDrops is not responsible for matters outside its control.
7. Accounts and paid services
Where accounts, advertising packages, subscriptions or other paid services are offered, additional service, payment or business terms may apply. Payments may be handled by third-party payment providers where applicable.
8. Availability and changes
We may improve, change, suspend or discontinue features as the Platform develops. We may also update these Terms when services, legal requirements or operating practices change. The latest version published on this page will apply to continued use to the extent permitted by law.
9. Responsibility and platform information
We work to keep PriceDrops.lk useful, secure and current, but third-party promotions can change and no Internet service can be guaranteed to be uninterrupted or error-free. Nothing on PriceDrops.lk replaces a retailer’s final price, availability or purchase conditions.
10. Privacy, law and contact
Your use of the Platform is also subject to our Privacy Policy. These Terms are intended to operate with applicable Sri Lankan law and mandatory legal requirements.
